I actually like betting the turn because he can easily have KQ, QT, or A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] x[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]x[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and he's never folding.

Yeah, I'll bet/call this turn. Were you going to c/c?
As played, I'll bet/fold $50 on river. |

I left out river action because I have no clue ahaha. But I think bet $50 is good because a lot of [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] hands are checking behind on the river because they have a pair so I don't they're turning it into a bluff.

If someone is raising hearts or J9 on the flop, they are betting the Ace scarecard way more often than not

He's not calling with worse unless he has two pair.
possible two pairs: AT - nope, he would've bet the turn (and not raised the flop) AJ - improbable, unless it's AJ hearts which is totally likely QJ - fairly improbable given that he raised the flop. Basically impossible if hes a standard 1/2 guy better hands - KT hearts KQ So, I think it's fairly unlikely that he has a worse hand that calls you very often if you bet. Also, AJ hearts will value bet the river sometimes if you check to him anyway, so not betting vs it isn't TOO big of a deal. If you bet the river, I think it should be to induce a bluff raise, which is silly here vs an unknown. I would check, calling most halfish pot bets and folding to big bets. I guess you may miss value from Ax[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] by not betting the river really small, but other than that I see no advantage to betting... /random thoughts |

JThh and Axhh could both call, although the second would probably be betting the turn. QTs is reasonable too.
