Villain in hand 1 is 65/25/2.8 crazy. Probably shouldnt repop this guy with this hand pf, but oh well. Also, what do you do here against standard tag?

hand 1 I check behind and am folding to a river bet unless i hit a straight or trips. It's not a good board to double barrel and you don't want to be c/raised off your draw. I'd do the same thing vs. the maniac or a tag. It's generally not a good idea to 3bet the maniac preflop unless he's weak postflop. Most people with those stats call down light, so I like just calling in position to keep the pot small because you can still bust him when flopping a monster.
Hand 2 I'd probably just c/fold. Theres just not a lot of hands you beat that will call a bet and as passive as he is he's probably not gonna bluff here. |

1- check behind. you have some outs and position. i think you also have little FE. you can occassionally get stuff like JJ to fold if you do decide to shove, just meh.
2- meh, probably bet 1/2 pot and fold to a shove. or c/f i guess. |

Hand 1: take the free card.
Hand 2: check/fold. Villain has an aggro factor of 1 so he wont bet unless he has you beat. |

Hand 1: Check the flop. Don't compound your PF mistakes against this maniac. As played, check the turn.
Hand 2: c/f versus a 30/3/1. He isn't getting too creative on yo ass. edit-just saw the stats to villain in hand 2 |

Not a good idea to raise maniac in hand one w/ sc that are going to play better multi-way. This guy is on your immediate right. Pick a better spot. As played, pick your poison. I've been here a million times. Three-barrelled and checked behind. Check behind and spike the river. Now I concentrate on avoiding these spots.
Hand #2 is very similar. When you find yourself in a hole quit digging. With 2 players left to act it's not a great spot to be firing with 2nd button. As played I've fired here many times, gotten the occassional flush draw to fold, and found myself up against the occassional donk limping K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]x [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. I think I c/c a reasonable bet. Firing again is the classic spot where better hands raise, weaker hands fold. |

I strongly doubt a 30/3/1 is folding any ace on the river in hand 2.

Thats some thin value you wanna go for by betting then cause he doesn't bet his ace either.

why are you checking river on #2 when he's called 2 streets on an A high flop, he may check a pair of Aces behind if you check, but surely calls your river bet, this is an easy fold if your river bet gets raised, when was the last time someone raised the river vs. you as a bluff at this level?
