400NL - KK semi-deep vs a total donk
villain is 52/30/1.9 (100 hands) and has been playing pretty crazy this session. He has been 3betting a fair amount, but I haven't had anything good enough to see him to showdown yet.
In hindsight, I think my small flop bet was silly. He had been playing very aggro/bluffy against me, but I really have no idea how wide or narrow his 4bet calling range is. Blinds: $2/$4 5 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $385.20 CO: $1.003.30 Button: $95.60 SB: $658.00 Hero: $772.70 Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is BB with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] UTG folds, CO raises to $15, Button folds, SB raises to $44, Hero raises to $148, CO folds, SB calls. Flop: 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($311, 2 players) SB checks, Hero bets $98, SB raises to $196, Hero _____________? |

haha ok, thanks guys, I guess I am just being result oriented. I obviously got it in feeling good about it, but a friend on msn made me doubt myself.

[/ QUOTE ] Given his stats, what hand range do you put villain on? He probably plays AQ the same as AA in this situation, so you might as well gamble. |

Re: 400NL - KK semi-deep vs a total donk
Only problem is his reraise is sorta smallish preflop, especially with a raiser and a coldcaller. I would call here and stick it in on turn, in case he decides to make a dumb play with JJ or AQ. I'm afraid if you push now maybe even AQ folds and QQ and AA obv just call you, which is why I flatcall here. Tricky spot tho... I'd be fearful of AA or QQ for SUUURE. I think AQ and Jj reraises bigger preflop, and his rr looks a bit smallish facing a raise and a call, and he'll be playing OOP postflop...

[/ QUOTE ] I don't hate calling the flop, but I don't think it'll make any difference in your BB/100. If he check/minraised with JJ, he'll put you on AK and calls most of the time. Sometimes he'll fold it, but if you flat and turn is A/K he might give up. |
