NL100-River [strght on prd board] ; fold, crying call or dblfistacall
on the river it's clear that he has a king, but what to do when he minraises? is this ever not a full house (- worse than straight)? villain was 30/3/0.5 after 50 hands

Re: NL100-River [strght on prd board] ; fold, crying call or dblfistacall
I go ahead and cbet the flop here. turn c/r looks a little on the small side but I guess its not too bad since it doesnt look like he has that much. actually, ur probably better off just leading the turn since I'd expect it to get chkd thru fairly often.
river looks like a pretty easy call |

Re: NL100-River [strght on prd board] ; fold, crying call or dblfistac
to make it clear, i'd rather call a push than a [censored] minraise. i was going "$L@##"$#L#L on the river.
so there is no folding arguments whatsoever? what do you think he is minraising after i make a pretty strong bet on the river? |

Hard to say, but I'll assume it's a random J, AQ, Q9 often enough.

Re: NL100-River [strght on prd board] ; fold, crying call or dblfistac
that's what i thought also, because when he bet 2$ on the turn, i said to myself, look he has KJ and he is milking us and afraid that he will chase us away but he doesn't know i've hit my gin card on the turn.
so i said, he has trips for sure, so when i bet out on the river i can fold to a raise (which would be all-in, if he was good), but after he minraised i just made a crying call the river was ultra big already. |

[/ QUOTE ] Your bet sizing is weird postflop. e.g. on the river you chose a bet size that left you very tempted to call. I'd either bet less and plan to call a minraise, or more so that it's an easy fold to a minraise. |
