This is not my hand; I will proceed in stages. $50 MTT, blinds 25/50. UTG with 4500 limps, UTG+1 with 9700 raises to 250. You have 4700 in BB. What do you do?

I may just call, raising to 1k then folding to or calling a shove both seem to kinda suck.

I guess an argument can be made for making a pot-sized reraise and hopefully end the hand now since you will be OOP..if initial raiser shoves then i guess do some math and figure out if it's worth the call given no reads...
I find myself calling in spots like this too much and being lost when the flop comes 3 unders...guess it's better to define your hand sooner than later.. |

Why would you be lost in a likely 3 way pot when you have A high...you can c/f with AK sometimes it's ok.

if i had NO reads on either player... as implied in the OP,
i'd just call. i have no qualms c/fing if i miss with ~80bbs behind if the pot is 3-way and there's significant action on the flop. if there was any hint of a read that UTG limps weak hands/plays a lot of pots, or UTG+1 is bad/etc... i like the iso raise. i'd probably make it t700. with our stack size, there is no reason to bloat the pot more than that i think. |

OK, hero actually reraises to 1000. What do you think of the raise size? UTG folds and UTG+1 calls.
There is 2075 in the pot and you have 3700 behind. The flop is 876 with a 2-flush, giving you a backdoor flush draw. What do you do? |

I don't want to CC and play OOP
Readless, I want to narrow down UTG+1s range right now. I raise to ~750, and would throw something when he pushes. -ZEN |
