Default How often do you do this?

I've been raising/leading flops with air a lot more since the infamous graph came out and trying to get trickier so that I can set up the spots I have big draws/nuts/set and actually get paid off more. It's working so far, I guess, though people still don't fold, which still makes me sort of think your table image doesn't mean much at $1/2 for the most part.

Anyway a 19/16 2+2 TAG (I forget which villain, this hand popped into my head from last week) raises in MP to $8, I call out of the BB with pocket twos (2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]). We each have $225.

Flop: A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

I check, he bets $14, I make it $45.

Improvement? Taking a step back?

In the past I'd usually call here.

Oh and for those will ask what I'm doing if he calls I think I'm betting $85 on the turn, which is what I would do with a set.

I definately do this once in a while. Fine. He is folding a very big part of his range here. The move is even better if there is no FD.

What is your turnplan?

lemme tell you one thing, if he calls you shut down. Im way more spewwwy/loose then like 80-90% of the pple who post in this thread, but i do not like to bluff alot of turns here if he calls, unless got some sort of good read. Especially not with your image. Since repping sets is kinda bad. Pple always think 'fk it, a set is hard to make and im ahead of his other hands, i call', or something like that.

Better with no flush draw, but it's nice. I also like it better on a Kxx flop.

I actually like it with the FD because if it comes A34r then FGs range is basically set or air and most people will just assume air but with a FD out there they're thinking FG still has a lot of equity with a FD and it could get messy. Also he can rep a flush on the turn if a club comes.

Yeah, actually, on a Axxss flop he's really never calling with a flush draw, so that makes sense. I guess on an Kxxss flop it wouldn't be so hot because you're getting shoved on by a pair + fd quite a bit, but he never has that hand on this specific flop.
