Questions: Flop: I called the flop raise because I got very-very confused. Passive villain minraises (little bit more than minraise) and took lead from me. I always get confused in similar situation - folding is so weak and raising means commiting my stack. Looks like set? If yes, I would fold but I can't fold to "minraise". What I would do? Call is correct? And turn - do we call, raise or fold here? I can't see any point to call this raise. We shove or we fold. Or ? |

Re: NL50: TP/TK vs Passive Villain
Just fold the flop when your cb gets c/r'ed. At best, you are up against a big combo draw. But you are more likely up against a set. There is no way a 17/7/1 is going to show up here with AQ, KQ, JQ, or a bluff with 77 (or some other weak hand) often enough for you to make staying in this hand past his c/r profitable. You don't even have the possibility of a decent redraw, like to a backdoor flush. So, fold on the flop to the c/r. As played, fold the turn.

Re: NL50: TP/TK vs Passive Villain
I agree with Albert. You don't really want to play for stacks with TPTK against a passive villain. Fold to the minraise and keep your nose clean.
Your stack is awesome. :P |

Re: NL50: TP/TK vs Passive Villain
He is normally passive. He is playing aggro. Fold. Obviously, some villains may use this to their advantage, I just hate this spot too much. He's setting himself up for AI on the river.

Re: NL50: TP/TK vs Passive Villain
When a passive villain minraises, he has TT or 33.
