In limit, it's a clear raise, whether suited or offsuit.
In NL, it depends. AQo UTG (full ring) isn't a tremendously valuable hand no matter how you play it in NL. Limping (with the intention of calling a raise from a normal player, and folding to a raise from a passive player) is a reasonable play in many games. |

It's a fold IMO.

It depends on how you want to play poker. Limping and calling a raise from a loose player is alright but i usually raise (usually 3 x BB). Folding is also not bad play but if you only ever raise UTG with QQ+/AK you become too predictable. AQ, while reasonable, helps balance your play. (This doesn't matter in low limits)

On a ten ring utg id probably just call hoping to see a cheap flop - 80% id call a raise depending what player raised it.
Although im sure thats not the general correct stratiegic play lol |

In a live FR game, I fold AQo UTG every time.
Occasionally, if the game is passive and I can expect a 3- or 4-way unraised pot, then I'd limp with AQs with the intention of folding to a raise. If you limp AQ in EP, then hit top pair in an unraised pot, generally bet the flop, check/call the turn, and bet the river. Occasionally check/call the flop and then lead the turn. Usually fold if you get too much resistance (i.e. a big flop raise or over-sized turn bet). I have improved my live game win rate considerably by folding hands like AQo in EP instead of raising it (2/3 NL and 5/5 NL 9-handed). The main problem I find is that people call continuation bets light live more than they seem to do online. |
