MSNBC Article on Absolutely Rigged Poker
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21381022/?GT1=10450
[ QUOTE ] The cheater, whose illegitimate winnings were estimated at between $400,000 and $700,000 by one victim, was an employee of AbsolutePoker.com who hacked the system to show that it could be done, said a spokesman for the company, “We acknowledge a significant internal security breach whereby a resource who was infinitely knowledgeable about the system was able to get into the accounts in question. He played on those accounts and he saw hole cards,” the spokesman said. [/ QUOTE ] Cheating Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FczbS7FiWSM |

Re: MSNBC Article on Absolutely Rigged Poker
there's at least of these threads floating around the forums...
that said, that youtube made my dick hard...seriously. WHY WOULD YOU BE THAT DUMB??? when i first watched, i didn't get it, my poker mind couldn't wrap my mind around KNOWING you're calling with K2 vs. KQ...then i realized that all that had to happen was no KQ on the flop... *shaking my head* i pointed my brother to that video, and we talked about it..and it quickly got down to how we gamble...he's more lag, takes more risks, i'm more tag and conservative...he said he'd immediately move up, start playing the big buy-in tournies... me? i'm quitting my job tomorrow, and grinding for the rest of my life.. anyway, off topic. that article has been posted many times. the youtube link too, though it is ridiculously entertaining in the way that imagining you win the lottery is.. |
