I had a bubble spot a few hours ago, where I tried the stop & go, but in the HH it looks way too high risk. Am I risking too much equity? Is the stop & go even viable at the bubble? Seems like you're hightening the threat of bubbling by using it. I dunno.
Here's the hand: 150/300 Seat 1 BTN ![]() Seat 3 SB ![]() HERO BB ![]() VILLAIN UTG ![]() VILLAIN raises to 600 BTN folds SB fold. HERO CALLS w/ (44). Flop: [5h Qh 8s] HERO bets 1585 all in. I might be being naive overthinking this. It may be superstandard. |

I made pretty much the same play yesterday and posted it. I don't see a big problem with it, but others probably will. You are pretty close in chips to the other 2 stacks. If villain is opening enough pre, you can shove.

This seems like a good spot for a Stop/Go. I like it.
