You silly americans put up a stink in congress when they try to spend american dollars on american assets. So they do the obvious thing and withdraw the money to invest elsewhere. Fortress America ftw hillary!

[/ QUOTE ] Peter Schiff, in his weekly call in radio show, said that the 200 billion dollar fund just set up by the Chinese central bank should be viewed as flight from the dollar as the money used to set it up is largely US treasuries. Thus nay money spent by the fund is them trading their dollars for commodities/companies/whatever they buy. |
