Default 200NL another thin river value raise?

ok there was a very very relevant hand vs. this villian earlier at this table. He's something around 25/10 or so but i can't seem to find the HH so don't know the exact numbers.

I raise JJ from UTG, villain min 3-bets from BB I call. flop Qxx w/ two diamonds i have Jd. he makes a standard $10 c-bet I call. turn is a diamond. he bets $10 I raise to ~$50 or so and he calls. river blank he bets $10 again. I shove for ~$150 more and he timebanks and calls w/ QQQ.

so I know that he knows I bluff raise blocker bets.

Poker Stars, $1/$2 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players
LegoPoker Hand History Converter

MP: $101.70
CO: $127.90
BTN: $200
SB: $213.80
Hero (BB): $240.30
UTG: $227.40

Pre-Flop: 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (BB)
4 folds, SB calls $1, Hero checks (I raise mostly but i wanted to calm down a little)

Flop: ($4) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB bets $6, Hero calls $6

Turn: ($16) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero checks (should probably bet? his flop overbet confused me and I wanted to keep the pot small)

River: ($16) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB bets $2, Hero???

I'm 99% sure this is a fake blocker and he wants me to try and bluff raise him here. the only problem is that I don't know if my hand beats his range for throwing out a fake block now that I've rivered a good two pair.

I bet turn...and I'm definitely raising river. It's not even that close IMO.

How can you possibly know this for sure? These donks do this w/ all sorts of hands. If he 3-bets it's an easy fold, but you're missing a lot of value if you just call here.

did u read my description of the other hand? the reason i checked the turn was for pot control and i thought he was giving me a chance to bluff him. then as soon as he lead out min i was almost positive it was a fake block. lets just assume for now that he wants a raise from me cuz im almost positive he does. then what would u do?

Well if you think he's giving you a chance to bluff why wouldn't you bet turn? After he caught you earlier, he's calling w/ worse kings/Jx/QT like every time. If he C/R's it's an easy fold.

How is this close? Raise to 16 and fold to shove.

last time he value bets smallish, so i dont think overbetting pot then check turn and minb river is necessarily strong. from my experience he is valuebetting some one pair hand.

I'm pretty sure he wasn't inducing a shove w/ QQQ.
