5/10 NL live I make a low boat but not sure how to play it
Foxwoods 5/10 NL. Solid, seemingly smart, villain raises to 40 from MP, I call with 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] in the cutoff. A blind calls and an early position limper calls.
Flop is 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. All check to me and I bet 125. Villain calls. Pot is 400. Turn is T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and villain leads out for 250. I don't really know where I'm at here. Maybe he has T9 or TQ, or just a big draw. I decide to just call to represent a weak hand and induce him to fire again on the river with a missed or made draw. Should I raise here? River is 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and he bets 500. I have 1900 left. I feel like I should make a small raise here because he probably won't call a shove with trips and it is very unlikely that he has a straight. |

shove, He has QQ-AA here a ton. He probably won't pay you off but he might.......You could also raise to like 1350 but that might look even stronger in his eyes.

Re: 5/10 NL live I make a low boat but not sure how to play it
I think a small turn raise is much better because A) it builds the pot and I don't think he's going to fold too many made hands or any draws, B) a lot of river cards could kill your action if he's on trips or a big pair, C) he could shove a second-best hand.
