Default This is my standard line, is it standard for all of us ?

Absent of a read, this hand is the typical line I will take with a flopped flush draw from the BB, when 'scare' cards are absent.

Full Tilt 2/4 Hold'em (6 handed) Full Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver Cards)

Preflop: Hero is BB with , .
2 folds</font>, <font color="red">CO raises</font>, <font color="red">2 folds</font>, Hero calls.

Flop: (4.50 SB) , , <font color="red">(2 players)</font>
<font color="red">Hero bets</font>, CO calls.

Turn: (3.25 BB) <font color="red">(2 players)</font>
<font color="red">Hero bets</font>, <font color="red">CO raises</font>, Hero calls.

River: (7.25 BB) <font color="red">(2 players)</font>

Final Pot: 9.25 BB

I like that idea.
I figured the turn follow through pushes out medium aces and most if not all kings.
I felt checking the turn makes it impossible for us to win the pot with the worst hand.

Except vs. someone like me who will call you again on the turn to make you fire on the river if you want it (which you probably won't.)

I'm calling all aces and Kings on turn if I was villain if I got c/r on that flop. I think you overestimate the power of a flop c/r on a 2-flush board. I have no standard lines, I play according to the opposition. Against an unknown I c/c flop and turn and c/f river UI. Donk river if I hit. Not very funny but with no read I see no point in making moves when you don't know what villains responses means.

Even if villain has something like Ax and his planning to calldown, you have small equity edge on the flop so check-raise isnt bad then. And most villians will fold K-high on the turn. So Im still check-raising here.

This is a pretty decent C/R spot. However, you have to be wary of opponents who will "rebluff" the turn (I say rebluff, because their Ax/Kx is the best hand, but they don't know it.)

I guess this would be standard if the goal of poker was to charge yourself the absolute maximum to draw while representing no real made hands.

not standard at all for me..... seems like the majority of donks on drawy boards are draws, not made hands, as checkraising is the trendy thing to do with any pair HU. as always this is villian dependent.

as for me, i checkraise either the flop, or the turn, depending on several factors. if the villian tends to be more showdown bound, i tend to checkraise the flop b/c my equity is higher and since he is less likely to fold A high or bottom pair, i want to get my money in with as much equity as possible. if villian is the type that will fold hands like A hight and bottom pair, then i will will wait for the turn to checkraise, as long as the turn card is a relative blank, in an attempt to steal the pot either on the turn, or with a bluff on the river. however i should point out that at small stakes... if they call your turn c/r, they are likely to call the river bet as well with any hand with showdown value.

wow that was long.

anyway, no i prefer a checkraise

If I check raise on the flop, get a call, should I lead the turn or try to get a free card ?
