Default Getting caught on steal from nit, getting 2:1 Odd stack to defend.

Found myself in an odd stack situation today, caught stealing from CO to a 3.6/3.6 (bb was 6/6)over 90 hands w J5o. Blinds 1500/3000
getting 2:1, have 30 bb's after openening pot ~2.75x, nit sb jams ~12bb's, can I fold here? Will it kill reputation/ hit my $EV and stack enough to fold? I know I need a plan for this, but it was 4 straight steals prior to this on the cutoff and I got to the point of atc would do, I knew it'd be tricky ahead of time, but thought worth the risk considering the nits...

fold...if he's a nit you are enough behind to make it unprofitable...then just keep stealing...the point is if they only play back a fraction of the time stealing is profitable unless you mess up and actually call with junk

I folded... just felt weak doing it, it was pretty late to be pulling these stunts when the math says don't, but you can't resist sometimes, this a leak or ok into nits this extreme when it's this late? I did db em both and they were both in over what their experience would indicate, but 5 straight is pushing it.
