My final four looks like:

Williams
Fischman

Juanda
Esfandiari

Esfandiari vs. Fischman, Esfandiari wins.

This is all a total guess obviously, but I liked the way Fischman and Esfandiari played in last year's tournament.

The Brunsons have some tough draws (Harrington and Juanda).

What time will the championship match be on the 6th? I'll be arriving in Vegas on the 6th but not till later (probably 7:00 pm Vegas time). It'll probably be over by then but if not I'll go watch it live.

Anyone else think that Chip Reese vs. Phil Hellmuth is a hilarious first round matchup? In that interview Phil gave a few days ago, he was pretty steamed at Reese.. claimed he'd be bringing his best against him for the next 10 years or something. And they are heads up right away. That's great.

This has the potential for a huge blowup. Reese is probably a 4-1 favorite if he simply maintains his composure while Phil is heated.

Disagree completely. When Phil is focused and on his game, he's VERY difficult. This kind of heads up, 1 match format that doesn't take long to play is the PERFECT kind of competition for him. He should be able to hold it together long enough.

I don't think last year was a fluke. (rather he almost got fluked out himself).
