Re: 16$ : QQ
Without a read i would consider folding. You put in a 4xBB early raise. This gets re-raised and then someone else shoves. I'd say your against KK/AK/AA most of the time so on average you'll be behind.

Re: 16$ : QQ
What are your reads on c/o and button?
Without knowing anything about them, I would say this: C/O is short stacked and could be pushing any Ace/Broadway/or PP. I do not quite understand why button would raise all but t140, but I am sure he has a hand and wants to isolate the c/o. He could have AK,AQ, maybe even AJ. He could have anything from 55-AA as well. Only three bad senarios. Senario 1: One of them has AA or KK. Or, one has an Ace and the other has a King. It that happens you are only about 16% favorite to win preflop. Senario: 2: Both have an Ace Both have a king One has an Ace or a king and the other has a pp, Both have pps lower than yours If this happens, you are anywhere from 50-62% favorite to win. You are getting 6 to 5 on your money once you are all-in. If my math is correct, there would have to be about a 20% chance that senario 1 would not occur! If you fold, your M=12, so you are still in fairly good shape if the blinds don't go up too soon. If your stack was lower. I would push, however, in this case, I would fold. I do not claim to be an expert, so please let me know if I am way off on my thinking. |

Re: 16$ : QQ
Raise less preflop, like t275. I think you can get away from it after that.

Re: 16$ : QQ
I'd make it 300 or w/e pf and then probably just flip a coin.

Re: 16$ : QQ
id rarely if ever raise less than 300 pf...after that, as schmitty touched on, if the button is bad im definitely putting it in here otherwise its closer but a fold.
