in the last several weeks, almost all of my time has been taken up by this game - I have been a civ junkie for 10 years (not as bad as an Evercrack addict, but close) -
I've gotten Civ and Space Victories, Domination on some smaller maps, and beating the game almost 50% of the time on a prince level now but need to research like a banshee towards a space victory most of the time - think I got a diplomatic win too, which is REALLY tough unless you have a bunch of vassels. Any Civ 4 junkies out there try the new mod? - Lots o'fun unless the AI launches a massive amph. invasion. RB |

not quite the same game - you start with a settler and a military unit and then try to be the dominant civilization on a planet either thru war, commerce, culture, or launching a ship -

I don't know anything about the new mod but god I'm glad I don't have any Civ on this PC.

I seem to be skipping generations.
I had serious Civ I and Civ III addictions (the latter ended only by trouble getting III to run on a new computer), but never played II or IV. |

I bought a new computer to play Civ 4.
I hadn't really played 2 or 3, but was big in to Alpha Centauri. [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] civ. Must. Not. Install. On. Laptop... |
