Default Is it possible to beat $25NL?

If I'm reading this right, the rake is 5 cents per dollar in the pot on Pokerstars.

How does anyone possibly beat this rake? It's outrageously high and with the amount of people sticking around to deal out bad beats, I don't see how it's possible to beat.

Oh and if this is the case should I just jump straight into 200 NL online? I want to start playing online but all I've played so far is 200 cash games in person.

200NL live is an easier game than 25NL online.

Serious answer: The amount of bad players at nl25 makes it definitely beatable. The rake is capped at $2 or $3 or something, it's not that bad. If you don't have an edge, you won't win. That's pretty much it.

much to everyones dismay im going to give you a serious answer

If you believe 25NL cant be beat because of the rake or too many people out to deal bad beats, you will get destroyed at 200NL.

My advice, buy pokertracker, play 25NL, read and post hands and study. Move up once you are able to beat 25NL
