Procrastination - What do you do?
I'm running out of procrastinatory habits. I am massively ADHD so one dimensional things don't cut it - i.e. just listening to music isn't enough. Running out of tv shows. I've tried just about every hobby known to man.
Recently turned to BBV obv, but it still isn't providing enough of a fix. What do you do to fill the hours? And no, masturbation is not an acceptable answer. |

Re: Procrastination - What do you do?
In a dorm room with no TV and hence no video game consoles. I've tried some of the NES games available online but I can only play so much Dr. Mario. Any good online game suggestions? I enjoy puzzle and action adventure games. No RPGs, kthx.
Shopping requires money and I only gain so much satisfaction. At the end, I only have more stuff. |

Re: Procrastination - What do you do?
I have a 5-7 page paper that I wanted to do yesterday. (Due tomorrow)
I had word open all day and stared at a blank sheet. Today I have done the same. Right now I am going up to campus to type it up where there are less distractions. Hopefully it works! ADHD sucks, and so do my procrastinating tendencies. |

ADHD sucks, and so do my procrastinating tendencies. [/ QUOTE ] Hear hear. Papers are the worst. I HAVE to have music playing or something going on while I write papers. The only way I ever get them done is like last minute by just forcing myself to just write. Luckily my stream-of-consciousness generally provides a pretty good paper. I was always good at the AP English tests because I can bust out a paper under pressure in like 20 minutes, but when I have time - no way, jose. Sports - I am not very athletic. I am involved in theater but we only have rehearsals every so often so I have lots of down time. And I do ritalin, not adderall. But I actually cut all those pills and started just trying to get by with coffee. I just hated feeling like I was being drugged and the comedown after ritalin just made me feel [censored] and that's a bad thing given my other tendencies. |
