Only one hand other big hand vs villian was when he limped AQhh UTG and I raised BTN with KThh and we got it on a Qx xh xh board for 1k. We played shorthanded for awhile and I was raising about 80% of hands and winning most of the time cbetting.
Villian has ~2k I cover BB has about 120 Villian raises to 50 UTG I call with 35ss in SB and BB calls flop is 10s 9s 3c I check \ BB allin for 70 \ UTG raises to 200 \ hero ???? I'm asking this because I normally just get it in on flop which is what I did. Is using a more passive line a better approach against nits who won't fold to me when they have an overpair. |

[/ QUOTE ] Nah, you are the favorite on the flop so I wouldn't be afraid to get it in... plus after short-stacked donk minbets all in, he makes it 200 and you make it 600, you have very decent FE even versus overpair-not-folding nits. I would jack it up to 800. Would do the same with a set.

Like everyone has said, raise. Villain will have air at least some of the time, and you'll win the pot right away. Raising to 600 or 650 sounds right to me.

Villian has air here like never and the only thing I was thinking about was how much fold equity I had.
