100nl:Tough KK hand against complete unkown
Villain has just sat down so no reads. He has bought in for 60bb so cant be that great.
Poker Stars, $0.50/$1 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players LegoPoker Hand History Converter SB: $128 BB: $100 Hero (UTG): $133.15 MP: $60.20 CO: $59.50 BTN: $65.70 Pre-Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (UTG) 3 folds, Hero raises to $4, MP calls $3.50, CO calls $3 Flop: ($12) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 Players) MP bets $8, CO folds, Hero calls $8 I think his range includes under pairs and overpairs, a bunch of club draws and a lot of Tx hands ( AT-T8 perhaps?) I didnt raise because villain will probably 3bet shove his draws, Tx hands and overs. Im not in good shape against this range Turn: ($28) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players) MP bets $17, Hero calls $17 Is a random villain donking turn with an underpair? Is he donking turn with a draw? do i raise? call and hope he bluffs missed draws? just fold? EDIT: converter messed up, im button, main villain is SB |

Re: 100nl:Tough KK hand against complete unkown
Raise flop/shove turn.
I wouldn't really care what you think this guy has. He has only 60bbs so just get it in, if he flopped trips then gg, cause you have him beat a lot. What position are you? Action seems to be messed. |

Villain has just sat down so no reads. He has bought in for 60bb so cant be that great. [/ QUOTE ] How do you assume a player is bad or good because of the fact they bought in 60bb oppose to 100bb?? Thats a massive over-assumption. as far as the hand, muck preflop. |

Raise flop to $30 and take it down there.
As played shove turn. |

Re: 100nl:Tough KK hand against complete unkown
I like calling the flop here because you are either well ahead to a PP, well behind to 10x or just ahead to FD with maybe ace over-card. If you raise and villain is good he'll only call when you are beat.
However, if you call and see a safe turn (such as the 5d) then you bet for value if he checks or raise AI if he bets. He still calls you with 10x but is more likely to feel committed with PP's or a FD and is more likely to call with them with even less of a chance of hitting them. If the turn comes a club then you can evaluate your circumstances at the time remembering that you do have a 2nd nut redraw potential. |

Re: 100nl:Tough KK hand against complete unkown
Villain never has a T here. Everybody who buys in for 60bb sucks and everybody who sucks never leads in to a raiser with trips. Just raise flop or turn as played, for value and to protect your hand.
