50NL: 99 Multi-way Flop
Undecided about my turn play. I think betting the turn seems okay. I guess I was trying to induce a bluff.
On the river I get my 'bluff' and am getting decent odds too. I honestly expected to see some gutshot with him checking the turn behind then betting river. Does this seem like a bad call? Re: 50NL: 99 Multi-way Flop
Was your plan to c/r the turn? If not I think you should have lead into it after your flop raise.
His flop weak lead/call and turn check behind wreaks of a hand he is not too sure is favourite to win but he just can't let go. Maybe a mid/small PP. As played you have shown weakness on the turn and you have to call the river bet. Unless he had 22 I can't see how it helped him. |

Re: 50NL: 99 Multi-way Flop
There isn't much that he could cold-call the flop and then 'bluff' the turn or the river with
He only has 2/3 pot left, so put him all in on the turn for value and avoid the negative freeroll Or, if you think his cold-call means that he very probably has you beat, check/fold Check/call just doesn't make much sense here |

Re: 50NL: 99 Multi-way Flop
i agree with members that you should be betting, because he's quite unlikely to start bluffing at you (with overs?) or valuebetting the worst hand - he'll check behind stuff like lower pps mostly.

Re: 50NL: 99 Multi-way Flop
Yeah, I probably should have just shoved the turn. Like I said, I was trying to induce a bluff because these short stacks love to do that. Then when he didn't try to steal it on the turn I didn't know what to do on the river. I didn't think he could call with many worse hands, but yet I still called him.
