Flops millions of draws-what to do when villain push.?
Full Tilt Poker Game $0.25/$0.50 - No Limit Hold'em
Seat 1: BTN ($20) Seat 2: SB ($52.90) Seat 3: BB ($50) Seat 4: UTG ($58.95) Seat 6: CO ($43.85) *** HOLE CARDS *** Dealt to Hero[Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]] CO to $1.75 BTn calls $1.75 Hero (sb) calls $1.50 BB folds *** FLOP *** [9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]] Hero checks CO bets $4 BTN calls $4 Hero raises to $16 CO raises to $57.20, and is all in BTN folds Hero? Realized that this hand maybe shud have been mucked pf, but figured I did get a good price for a call. The flop is almost as good as it gets for me, but when he pushes over the top sets and flush with top pair comes to mind. Is this a fold? |

pf is ok, i'd call since CO could have tried to steal, but mucking isnt wrong.
call here. FD+OESD+2Overs = money imo |

Re: Flops millions of draws-what to do when villain push.?
How aggro is villian?
Anyways, I like to leads here, hoping to get raised and then i 3-bet push. I think you can make a thinking player fold an over pair here. Anyways your equity is sick vs anything except sets. Vs sets you arent "that" bad. You want all the money in for sure, its just you want to be the one pushing your F/E... I deffinately call his push tho. |

villan has an over pair much more often than a set IMO.
that gives you enough equity to make the call here. |

I bet/3bet as well.
Instacalling this, you have way too many outs to fold |

Easy call. [/ QUOTE ] Just to elaborate on WHY this is an easy call. If villain flips over his hand to show the set we still call. This is true if CO has a stack of $43 to start and its true if he covers us (noted stack sizes and bet sizes are inconsistent so I'm not sure which situation applies) I also think a c/r on the flop is fine and the b/3b is not clearly superior. |

I call this with the fd, OESD, and two overs. We have a ton of outs here and are likely to improve our hand by the river. CO's bet here reeks of an overpair.
