Re: Stars $109- Flop flush draw from SB deep in tourney
I'm a hair over 20bb. A lot of moves here are committing. Much easier spot deeper, I prob c/r allin if I'm <10bb.
Folding and finding a better spot I thought would be the right decision. What's the villain making this move with? Any 10? A bigger flush draw? |

Doesn't appear to be a blatant steal with the CO still left to act. But I also wonder what he's limping there. Small pairs, SC's, Axs...or possibly monsters? Suppose it would be tought to narrow his range. But I don't think he's folding anything he bets here, and my flush draw is behind all other flush draws. |

What are you afraid of? The guy bet half pot, so call.
Checkraising allin or checkraising to about 10K and pushing the turn also look good. |

raising sucks w/ stack sizes, i call and check the turn.
did you consider b/3b? i think i would have chosen that line. |

Re: Stars $109- Flop flush draw from SB deep in tourney
I think it may be a little irresponsible to c/c or c/f.
IMO, the combination of him having an underpair to the 10 and the possibility of a big stack steal makes it so that a c/f is unacceptable holding the flush draw. How about c/r and bet almost any card on the turn if he just calls the re-raise. The play may be vulnerable to slowplaying monsters but long term I think it is a -EV play for an overpair or a set to smooth call a re-raise on the flop. c/r flop, push turn if flop re-raise if smooth called on flop. Thoughts? |
