Default AK turn spot

This was the only really interesting hand I played all month. And really, this could be easy. Anyhow.

Absolute 5-10 full, 8 players

Villian1 is ospoker, 37/11/1.5 for those that know him. V2 is unknown.

V2 limps, I raise A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] , 2 fish cold call, V1 3bets from the BB, V2 calls, I cap, all three players call.

5 to the flop for 20sb.

K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

V1 bets, v2 calls, I raise, 1 fish calls, v1 3bangs, v2 calls, I cap, all three call.

Turn 18BB

T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

v1 bets, V2 raises, and I do what, getting 10-1 right now.

If V1's range is AK, AA, 99 and KK you are drawing to a chop when behind vs V2.

I think this is a clear fold. Against a thinking player I also think you overplayed the flop. Dont cap if V1 has a brain. Knock yourself out if he sucks at hand reading.

I fold. You could easily be drawing dead and youre not closing the action. Also, If you want another bet going in, isnt calling the flop and raising the turn better?

FWIW,I would never cap the flop in this spot. Turn looks like a fold.

of course I folded, because I have some skill.

again, the flop cap is a far from standard play, and I only did because I thought there was a good chance I was ahead. Is it still not worth it to cap even if the villian is life tilting against me?

Turn looks like a really easy fold now, but it took me a few seconds while I was playing.

Also, my lil brother was sweating me, and he about passed out when I folded TP/TK on the turn

ya, if you 3bet the flop oink, i'm just calling down, but this guy has been going crazy with some decent hands on me. And he was tilting at me, so I thought there was a decent chance I was ahead. My standard is to just call the flop 3bet.

There's increasingly little difference IMO, esp at 5/10+. There's certainly no difference at 10/20 and 15/30 where I play. It's the same guys that play 6m pretty much.
