Default $27: common enough preflop spot

Button is super tight (like 4/0). SB 43/10/1.25. BB 26/17/2. Not many hands but whatever. 10 bbs I shove this. 15+ I'd just raise to like 250. With 13 I have no idea, esp. vs. loose sb and aggressive bb.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t100 (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

BB (t3490)
UTG (t1945)
MP (t3325)
Hero (t1300)
Button (t1350)
SB (t2090)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].

With your reads it's actually pretty thin. I'm pushing if I've been tight so far and I'm probably folding if I was active lately.

probably close. I fold usually and probably push 66.

do an icm calculation; without doing the calculations, i assume it is a push.

Those who say shove, have you run this through SNGPT? It's actually slightly -EV if opps call tight and only very slightly +EV (like +0.1-0.2%) if they call loose. My range in this spot is something like 77+, AJ+.

I think I shove. The thing is the sb/bb probably suck because they will defend with 76s not because they will call shoves with k8.

shove should be fine. sb could easily call with 22-44 or A2-A4.

Depending on their ranges shove has from -0.3 ev to +0.1 % ev, and its really tight call range for them where it is +ev, so fold here is required i believe. Also +0.1% ev is like Huge variance in results, which can't be good either.

And its wrong that its good that they are loose, the looser their call range the worse it gets.
