What to do with 77 UTG?
B&M casino. 2/2 NL $100 max buyin.
I have 77 and $44. Minraise to $4 UTG (probably bad, I know. I limp 80% of the time here). Two MP callers that have me covered. Button raises to $15 and has me covered. SB pushes allin for $23. Button is unknown (but assume typical). SB is fairly solid. With 77 do I call, push, or fold? |

Re: What to do with 77 UTG?
you could shove hoping to isolate against the SB...but I'd probably fold.
The UTG minraise is IMO the least optimal play with that hand. You are building a pot OOP. You want to flop a set in a multiway pot, not raise to thin the field. I know the value of mixing up your play, but at a full table I think I limp 77 UTG 100% of the time. |

Fold the first time it gets to you.
