I was doing homework and occasionally watching a very good, well known player who was the Button, and am wondering about this call... does he really figure to be committed here, or is this a tilt spite call?

not all well known players are very good...
No, he probably wasn't getting the right price to call, but there's more to poker than pot odds. I get comments from the rail all the time about odd looking plays. OMG you risked your tournament with 45 sooted lol?! If you only glance to the screen when there's a showdown you won't notice that the same lagtard raised my BB every time it was folded to him on the button. |
