400NL getting owned by 1/2 pot bets
Thoughts on turn/riv calls? I'm thinking turn is ok but river is a dreadful call. In pokertracker I have villain at 35/14 over 100 hands but it seemed like he was playing looser than that when this hand happened.

I don't think you can say turn is ok but river is bad, since if the guy is on a bluff, then given his stats he's probably not dropping it on the river. I'd just dump the turn, you're either not winning or getting bluffed on the river and you don't have anywhere near odds.

I think I c/f the turn. 76 got there and guys like this usually dont give a free showdown.

GRUNCH:
I tend not to CB here, don't know if that's a leak. I think it's probably a mistake to call the turn and fold the river for a 1/2PSB so i make my decision on the turn i think. |

Way to get value-towned. If he keeps position betting, you can call this turn/river, but this is pretty spewy.

Re: 400NL getting owned by 1/2 pot bets
id have to know his street AFs to make a decision here....i would like this call down a lot more if his bets were bigger, the half pot bets are generally retardedly thin value bets

[/ QUOTE ] turning our hand into a bluff here vs this type of villain is extremely marginal, loose players like this do not like to fold - especially to river c/r. |
