Default 2/4 weird preflop spot with JJ

UTG is dogstare, a semi-reg who runs like 27/13. Hes not good but at the same time hes not retarded. He stacks off kinda light sometimes and occasionally makes dumb calldowns/bluffs. Half stack is an unknown so Im gonna assume hes retarded till proven otherwise.

I doubt dogstare smooth calls with AA/KK with a player behind so Im thinking his range is 99-QQ, AQ+. I think I can force him off those hands with a shove but Im not too sure.

same thing grand...i dont see how you have the best hand here...but in the end, i think he may fold a very good hand here, even AK maybe.

Looks OK to me.

Calling would be barftastic. My nitty self gets avoidant at the shove and wants to fold. I wouldn't hold it against you. But I think your shove-over is fine too.

If your range is accurate you should be able to fold out 99, TT, JJ, and AQ. I think with all the money in there QQ and AK are still calling you. Especially given the fact that MP and UGT+1 are probably holding some of each other's outs, I like this.

Looks good.

You could flat call preflop but after you raise and MP2 pushes after cold calling its go time.

Basically:

* You're giving dogstare better than 3:1 to see the flop.
* Allowing him to play perfectly post-flop with overs, a good part of his range.
* Committing more than half your effective stack so that you can't fold, but not getting any FE along with your pot equity.
