moving up with 10 buyins while 6 tabling
I was having a chat with a friend on aim where I told him IM gonna start with 400 bucks and start 6 tabling the 6max nl games on stars. I move up the next level when I have 10 buyins for the next level. If I go on a downswing in the middle of playing and Ive reloaded my entire bankroll on all my tables Ill just move down. I am wondering what my risk of ruin is with this bankroll challenge is.

I am wondering what my risk of ruin is with this bankroll challenge is. [/ QUOTE ] Very Significant.....more so if you have a LAG style of play. Short-handed play has lots of swings. You need 20-30 buy-ins. Assuming you are a winning player. |

Re: moving up with 10 buyins while 6 tabling
You can't answer this question unless you address the following :
1)What is your win rate while multi-tabling? 2)What is your s.d while multitabling ? 3)What is your personal risk tolerence? 4)Do you suffer from tilt ? Once you answer some of these questions , you may plug your numbers into this formula : B=-sigma^2/(2u)*lnr where u=win rate sigma=s.d ; sigma^2=variance r= risk |
