Default NL200 - Flopped a Flush deepstacked and feel sick.

PFR is an unknown. Villian (Button) is a LAG regular (29/17/1.5/500) . He is capable of making semi bluffs, but usually doesn't have air.

Carbon Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $2.00 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

With the small bet on the flop and the call, I wanted to raise to make sure Ah didn't get to draw cheaply. Then this happened...

Thoughts on whole line in general appreciated.

I think preflop is fine. Flop I'd lead because you don't know that CO will bet. Button doesn't look that aggro at all, that's a pretty small aggression factor.

That said, I push.

I don't think I push...that just gets calls from higher flushes.

I'd call and get it in on a non heart/non paired board turn..fold if one of those happens and he pushes/bets huge.

Sadly this looks like he flopped the nuts, though.

What? If he decided to play a set like this, I doubt he's folding. He's also not folding small flushes.

The only smaller flushes are 56 and 45.

Isn't this a SA/WB situation? We are about 66% fav against a set, but 0% dog against the higher flush.

Against a set you're 60-40 favorite, and against a higher flopped flush (which most flushes would be higher than urs) you're pretty much drawing to a backdoor straight flush (500:1 shot) only if those cards weren't folded. Given that you're a 60:40 favorite or a 500:1 underdog ONLY IMO, being against a higher flush 75% of the time I'd say, I'd fold the hand and feel pretty well.

At the time, I was following FGators reasoning of calling and reevaluating based on turn. With stacks these deep I wanted to give myself an out if the turn is nasty (another heart or paired board).

Hero calls $80.

Turn: ($295) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $280.8 (all-in), Hero ??
