Softiich is 26/10/5 on a 200 hand sample size before the hand, although the AF figure surprises me as I didn't feel him to be that aggressive. Poker1976 seems loose preflop and passive postflop. The table is generally playing fairly loose and only moderately aggro. I am playing 25/20/3ish. Did I just induce a bluff/misjudged value bet from a worse K or, given that my hand is virtually face up, is this usually AA, set or flush trying to get value? I think AA is less likely (since a flop shove would be the obvious move) but the flat call on the flop with a player to come looks either very scary or a loose call with a draw. |

Re: River decision with AK: snap call or fold?
I would fold it. A lot of draws hit, 99 is in his range and so are AsAx. You tie w/ AsKx. Other than that he could be turning a made hand into a bluff but not often enough to warrant a call.

Call here if he is vbets v thin and is capable of showing up with worse Ks though

he could easily be triing to move u off QQ or JJ. as played i think u have to call this ... but folding is maybe best if u havent better reads on him.

Re: River decision with AK: snap call or fold?
I would probably just shove the turn here.
Softiiich is very bad and way too loose from what ive seen from him. There are a lot worse Kings in his range and i dont think he folds a King to a turn push. Whats your screenname on betfair btw? If you don't mind telling me. |

why did you check the turn and river [/ QUOTE ] I only have one bet left, the turn wasn't great for me, he flatted a 3bet preflop and then flatted the c-bet with a player still to act. I figured the only hand I beat that calls is KQ, which even then would involve some really bad preflop play. I agree though, the decision on the turn and river are basically the same (if that is what you are implying). |
