Make monitor 1200x1600 instead of 1600x1200 ?
The Dell 2001 FP rotates, but I can't seem to use the Rotate feature on the monitor tab to change it says not available with DVI?
I have a Dell 2001 FP and a Samsung 204B and would like to rotate them both to be 1200x1600 instead of 1600x1200. Anyone know how to do this? |

As mentioned in the FAQ, most video drivers do this natively. What brand video card are you running?

I think it is ATI, I can check when I get home, but when I click the rotate button it says not available for DVI or something like that.
Perhaps I need to update the driver? |

when I click the rotate button [/ QUOTE ] I'm not sure which button this is. You mentioned the "tab", but I didn't get it. Are you using the ATI utility? That certainly supports DVI. |

Re: Make monitor 1200x1600 instead of 1600x1200 ?
There is like a window with 15 tabs and then inside one of the tabs there is a thing that says rotate and I choose 90 degrees and it says not supported DVI or something.
The monitor is definitly using the DVI cable, but maybe the rotation doesn't work unless you use the other cable. I can check when I get home. |

Re: Make monitor 1200x1600 instead of 1600x1200 ?
I have a 30in monitor working fine, and two 20in montors on the side which will not work because nVidia doesnt support rotation for the GeForce 8800GTX yet. Where is this button, could you elaborate? Having two monitors turned off on a beast of a system is the most frustrating thing...
