river play
no reads. First orbit. I figured there was a chance he was bluffing with a SD or FD w/ pair. i was getting just about 3 to 1. what do you think of the river call?

Re: river play
I would lead the turn.
I think you're beat almost always on the river. |

Re: river play
I'm probably just gonna bet the turn too.
As played I doubt your hand is best here too often. |

Re: river play
As played I think you should fire again on the turn.
Personally, I would try to check this down in the absence of reads. Playing TPNK OOP without reads is very difficult. With reads I might play it very differently. |

Re: river play
I'd muck the river - I don't see many hands that call flop and bet turn/river that you beat.
For leading the turn: I'd prefer to check the turn and make a valuebet on the river if he checks behind (he might do this easily with his weaker hands: pps, pair of 6s and such). I think we get most value this way. If he bets the turn, I call up to a psb and check the river ui (and then reevaluate based on betsize / texture etc.) |
