Re: AJ hand FTP 0.50/1
the initial river raise is close but probably ok, definitely just call after he 3-bets.

Does everyone like the flop raise? I'm not crazy about it.

Re: AJ hand FTP 0.50/1
he has overs and A high flush draw. Don't we want to build the pot.

Re: AJ hand FTP 0.50/1
flop raise is bad imo
if he's bluffing there is more value in letting him spew off, and if he has a pair he isn't folding also calling preserves our implied odds for when we hit edit: bad is a bit strong, we often have a small equity edge. I think calling is better though |

Re: AJ hand FTP 0.50/1
keep calling and raise if you improve. As played I often don't raise the river. the initial river raise is close, but I think the cap is spew.

Re: AJ hand FTP 0.50/1
Don't raise this flop with your very strong draw, catch your draw and raise turn or don't catch it and semibluff turn if you think it can be successful against this opponent.

Re: AJ hand FTP 0.50/1
Thought I already commented on the specific hand...
Wow! this hand is massively overplayed! Call down from the turn cap. Since you cant ever fold to a river 3-bet I seriously doubt you have eq to raise the river. Also as others have mentioned. Dont raise the flop donk. Why is it that everybody wants to raise donk bets? |

[/ QUOTE ] on the river, you have 72% equity against flushes or better. of course flushes probably have to be discounted somewhat, but i can easily see an aggressive villain cap the turn with any flush. i think the river raise is close but ok against an aggressive villain. |
