Default flopped straight and what next ?

First of all I'd like to say hi because I'm new to the forums. I started playing poker online 2 months ago and I moved from the smallest stakes to NL25 now ( but I'm actually thinking of going back to NL10 cause of my leaks that I want to eliminate )

Anyway , I'm not sure what to do on the flop. I knew that someone could have a king but since I am still good I'm just gonna mini-raise ( do I ever do that ? ) and eventually bet 3/4 pot on the turn. Ace got me and I knew I was beat. But what would be the proper action on the flop ?

-And BTW , please tell me what is villain since I've checked dictionary and couldn't find it tho...

First, welcome the wrong forum. You’re looking for the unlimited hold em forum.

“Villain” is what we call our opponent, cause the money grubbing fools are trying to steal our bankrolls!

On the flop you have the bottom end of the straight. Ugh… probably best against limpers (you’re only worried that AK beats you, and AK isn’t out there). To prevent drawing hands from drawing, you need to bet big.

Given your min raise you let em both in. As played, with two opponents behind you and that any K beats you and you have no outs a check/fold seems wise.

However, nice hand conversion.

I dont get how the size of a big bet changes on every street. How do you calculate your winrate?

Going for C/R on the flop is funneh.
Mini-check-raise of .50 on the flop is LOL.
Posting to the wrong forum = priceless.
