I am VERY tempted to bet that flop, really.

As played, I like the bet on the turn.

Value bet the river as he has never got you beat, here.

There is a possible straight on the river...

Which is why you want to bet that flop in position, and you can slow down on the turn if you get called

Nobody raising pf?

I prefer betting the flop, and having some idea about my opponents' hands if called. As played, I'd play the turn and river the same way.

i'd raise preflop if i was in the mood (about 25% of the time i'd guess), but call is fine too really. deeefinetly bet flop and probably shove against a reraise. people tend to do stupid stuff on low flops like these.

I'll usually raise preflop (but sometimes limp) but why would you check this flop????

I think you made a mistake by not betting the flop. There are a lot of cards that can make your overpair a losing hand.(A,K,Q,J + 8 + some straight cards) If called I would probably bet 1/2 the pot on the turn. If raised I'd fold (depending how commited are you), if called I would made a value bet on the river.
