Re: Cbetting on the flop based on number of loose passive fishes.
Why are you raising so small preflop?
As played I'd bet about 3/4 and hope to take it down here, fold to a reraise (unless its from big$trivia) and if I just get called then basically shut down unless I improve. I'd value bet a K on turn for sure and maybe 1/2 pot a 3/4 if only one person call. If more than one call, I only valuebet a King. |

Re: Cbetting on the flop based on number of loose passive fishes.
loose passive fishes, especially the sort that will call two streets light, generally shouldn't be cbet lightly. that said, you've often got the best hand here and when you don't you've got alot of equity; generally when you don't have any equity they'll let you know shortly. I don't mind a little bet, but I wouldn't make it every time.

Re: Cbetting on the flop based on number of loose passive fishes.
i think in these kind of spots i generaly like to check behind and bet the turn - betting isnt really going to tell you where you stand unless everyone folds, plus its the kind of hand where there are a few turn cards that give you a decent draw to play

bet for value [/ QUOTE ] Why? I would never bet this for value, go for full pot and try to take it down. If someone calls you there's a good chance you're going to lose and betting less than pot means a queens up (or even 4s up) will stick around out of curiosity. Also I hate posts that just say "u r wrong" and don't give any reason why their poster is the king jesus of omaha. |
