Rest of the story. RE:Any Math Majors here today? Need quick answers
[ QUOTE ]
You have been banned at the The 2+2 Forums. Reason: don't post your math homework here douche Ban duration: 3 days. [/ QUOTE ] My response: I am 55 years old. I don't have "homework", I was having a little fun with my teenage daughter. Kinda of a, are you smarter that...... As far as the "douche" comment, you are all class. Which mod are you? Good day! You failed to sign your name when you handed down your punishment. I am still wondering who you are. Do you have a name? |

Thanks for the explanation! I was wondering what happened. You shouldn't lie to your daughter, though...or at least, you have no reason to be upset when I lied to you in turn...
lol @ the mod. BTW, there's value in knowing this stuff; if not to help your daughter, then for basic mental exercise. The second lot you posted don't require anything more than 3rd grade arithmetic - they're based on the simple logic of seeing the relations between items, which is helpful with a lot of everyday stuff. |

Edited by Phil153 (09/18/07 12:31 AM) [/ QUOTE ] I agree with you Phil. I've gone back and refreshed my memory. My daughter I and are having math duels. It's been great practice and fun for both of us. When she gets into calculs I'll be toast. |
