AKs - nonstandard line vs a donk
villain is terrible - 44/7/.6, stationy, possibly blind. ive seen him call a PFR with Q3s then call of his stack with no pair, no draw. he has since reloaded a couple times. plays any suited cards, any card with at least one paint, etc

nh. i think your line is better than bet, bet, bet because he'll fold the river with nothing.

Re: AKs - nonstandard line vs a donk
Preflop is probably meh, but given you description .. why not? Postflop you obviously have the nuts and played them appropriately. If he's willing to stack off with underpairs or even A-high you might also just donk the flop and bet pot on every street, I don't know if you can count on him cbetting.

I like it. I expect to see KQ/KJ/KT or whatever all the time, but the river is grim for sure.

3-bet preflop, you have a huge equity edge

3-bet preflop, you have a huge equity edge [/ QUOTE ] I agree, you raised on the flop when you thought you were ahead to build the pot. So why not do it pre flop when you were ahead. This would have made it even easier to get all in. Apart from that I like. |

3-bet preflop, you have a huge equity edge [/ QUOTE ] ya i realized that (as i mention in the OP), but a lot of the value from 3betting comes when villain folds the flop unimproved. this guy wasnt going to fold anyting at all regardless of the flop and i was OOP, so i didnt think building a huge pot without a made hand was the best line. i thought it would be more profitable to invest 2 bb's PF and probaly still win a big pot if i hit, than to raise and invest 12-14 BB's PF and win a big pot only when i hit |
