4/8, wherein i fold TP
Obv i haven't folded TP in about 3 years but it was 4 way to the flop and villain seemed tight/passive. 26/14/1.5 over about 75 hands (obv not a ton).
I hadn't really seen him play any big pots but he limp/called AK UTG 4 handed and l/c KTs from the SB to BB raise. Trying to think of anything else... Re: 4/8, wherein i fold TP
yea i did this one time at 5-10 on almost the same board to a pretty tight villian (enoball i think) it just went like i raise utg and he calls utg1 and i have KQ and flop is QJ6 or something with two to a flush, i bet 80 he raised to 211, i folded but felt dirty.
sorry for the sidetrack, that was about two months ago, just recounting the last time i folded top pair on the flop. |

Re: 4/8, wherein i fold TP
Seems pretty standard, I can't imagine calling against this player type. You have really bad reverse implied odds when you actually do improve, considering you could turn trips and be behind to a boat, turn two pair and be behind to a set/straight. It's going to be real difficult to get this hand to showdown without risking a lot of money in the process, and it's unlikely you're good to begin with.

Re: 4/8, wherein i fold TP
I usually end up calling once, then getting pissed when they fire again. Fold seems fine.
