TT in the SB (shorthanded)
Villain is a solid TAG, 25/19/2.6. He may raise a little on the light side preflop, but nothing too bad. About the most out of line thing I can recall him doing is cold-calling a turn then folding to a cap.
.5/1 (5max) Hero in SB with T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Preflop: HJ folds, Villain raises, BTN folds, Hero 3-bets, BB folds, Villain calls. Flop (7 SB): 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Hero bets, Villain calls. Turn (4.5 BB): J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Hero bets, Villain calls. River (6.5 BB): 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Hero? Villain's turn call worries me a bit, but he could be on a flush draw. |

Re: TT in the SB (shorthanded)
bet. flush draw yes, but he is just as likely to showdown UI overs.

[/ QUOTE ] just because their preflop stats look like they are good, doesn't mean they are good postflop. I've seen a ton of short handed players with tightish stats make some of the most disgusting plays postflop. I just sit there thinking, dude, if you're only going to play that many hands, at least play them well. LOL After reading this thread, I still vote for value bet, and I'm probably calling a raise, depending on his showdown numbers and what I think of his big street play. |

c/r is interesting but too tricky for my taste without a better read. edit for eskimo: i agree that a river 3bet is rare, but can you really fold to it? can you really call it? [/ QUOTE ] you instacall it and accept that loss as a part of your c/r strategy. |

Re: TT in the SB (shorthanded)
kit is now my spiritual brother. We've been the aggressor this entire hand, so we're bet/calling this all damn day. We've got better than middle pair here and if villain has us beat, make a note and move on.
C/R is awful here as it just allows villain to check behind with Ahigh. C/C similar story. Bet it and forget it. |

Villain's turn call worries me a bit [/ QUOTE ] why? you have the best hand here like 90% of the time. either bet or C/R river. def do not C/C. |

C/R? thats aweseome seriously so he 3 bets you with 99 and calls you with AJ/KJ/QJ. and don't bet/fold. c/c is most correct. |

Re: TT in the SB (shorthanded)
c/c is not terrible, but claiming that any river line is terrible here is wrong imo due to the wide range of vil (apart from those river lines that include the 'f' word)
