Default Basic question: Scheduling the morning

if you want to have an AM workout, should you eat breakfast before hand? lets say you have to be somewhere (like a job ) at 8 am... wake up 5 am, eat 5:30 or so, at gym by 6:30, work out hour....sound right? any good way to compress that?

Just PreWO shake and PWO shake if you can... Eat "breakfast" right before work maybe?

Probably isn't the best thing possible, but it fits with your schedule.

eat some oatmeal + skim milk (cold, like cereal) and some fruit soon as you get up (some protein too if you can, maybe 1 scoop of protein powder). then do your shower/whatever routine. go to gym. have a PWO shake. go to work.

When I go in the morning I always eat quite a lot. I went with just a protein shake once and felt like I was going to vomit doing anything heavy. Today I went 8:00 wake-up, eat relatively normal breakfast (~700 kcals), wait 45 minutes, 1/3 Surge, workout. Obviously a lot of people can workout on less food though, but definitely get SOMETHING in.

how much time do i want in between this cold meal and working out

a lot of things online say "AM workout"... unless the best thing is actually to work out at lunch on those days?

I'd say 45-60 minutes between eating and lifting. i like to wait at least an hour but it will depend on your body.
