Default 200 NL: I either love or hate how I played QQ here ...

Second orbit or so at the table. I have MP1 at 17/11/5 after an insignificant number of hands. Never played with BTN before, but he's been pretty passive since I sat down.

Comments on all streets appreciated.

Why?

I assume you would rather shove over BTN's bet?

I think he's wondering when you were going to announce to the table that you had what you thought was the winning hand. Apparently you thought it was better to wait until somebody made a boat on the river.

If somebody boated up on that river, I didn't have the best hand, so I don't get your point.

Ah, I see. In which case I guess this hand belongs in BBV and you would like to educate us, rather than the other way round, right?

My point is that I think you've got the wrong forum, have you tried BBV?

Ur getting all your money in anyway so what are you talking about. If ur getting it in on the river why is getting it in on the flop the worst option? You dont make sense. You crossed the commitment threshold and prove that by getting it on the river. Why wait until you think you are beat to get it in???

I don't by far play 200NL but checking this flop without the intention of folding to a big bet is bad. Giving a freecard in contrast to what you say is bad, I tell you why. If someone has AK or AQ or 88 they are folding now if your bet (same for all other pairs. If the pairs below 88 don't make a set they will fold no matter what (no value in checking). If an A falls off you just lost to AK or AQ. If a Q falls off AK has you crushed and 88 has the idiot end+ AQ won't put anymore money in it. If someone happens to have QJ or QT and a king falls of you are splitting the pot (by the way AK then also won't put more money in the pot). Concluding: with checking you are not getting any money in there from any hand you are in front of at this moment it can only hurt you!!! I would either check/fold this flop or overbet shove to maximize fold equity against KK or AA. If you think nobody can lay down KK or AA here I would go for a check fold line, a lot of our outs are probably gone (two kings) or not full outs (Q could give someone a straight). This flop is just horrible, no mather what SPR tells you if you think you are beaten just lay it down. Well everyone checks the flop and on the turn yeah you are committed hahaha, MP1 played it very well...

Bet the flop, shove if reraised.

As played, either raise the turn to about $100 or just Shove the turn after the bet. If not there then definitely shove after the reraise. Just calling is terrible.
