Default NLCASH - I get owned by players who limp-call

example:

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $1/$2 Blinds - 2 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

Hero (BB): $300.10
SB: $346.90

Preflop: Hero is dealt A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB calls $1.00, Hero raises to $10.00, SB calls $8.00

Flop: ($20) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets $15.00, SB raises to $30.00, Hero raises to $90.00, SB raises all-in to $336.90, Hero calls all-in for $200.10
Uncalled bet of $46.80 returned to SB
Uncalled bet of $0.00 returned to Hero

Turn: ($600.20) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players - 2 All-In)

River: ($600.20) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players - 2 All-In)

Pot Size: $600.20 ($0.50 Rake)

SB had 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (three of a kind, Twos) and WON (+$299.60)
Hero had A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (two pair, Aces and Twos) and LOST (-$300.10)

and this happens all the time... should i be willing to laydown aces there?

Players who limp call are usually stupid enough to do that with TPWK. I would stack here and hate it everytime.

I dont think this is true at all - you might see JJ+, maybe AT sometimes but I agree that players in those sorta spots tend to have monsters when they limp call and then suddenly wanna play for stacks.

Thinking about it, if they have JJ+ they are prolly limping to reraise, so when the board comes out paired and they wanna play for stacks I find it hard to think what they can have that's not huge.

I would just call the minraise against this guy. That board is SO dry - his range is like {2x, Tx, air} and that's about it. Maybe throw in a small PP that's minraising to "see where he's at". In my experience people LRR JJ+ more than limp/call, so it's really hard for him to have a big enough hand to call a 3bet unless he has a 2. In any case, I'd say getting 150BB in on this flop (unless you know villain is gonna put you on a bluff here) is a pretty bad idea. I'd call the flop raise and either c/c or c/r the turn.

It sucks that you posted results. Playing passive is another alternative. It might even be better, I agree with jakeduke here. But however, call him down to the river.
