Trade proposed: Reggie Bush (mine) for Terrell Owens (his)
My 10 team, non-ppr league starts 2RBs and 2WRs and 1 Flex (TEs can be used as WRs). My current roster is using Antonio Gates as a WR. Here is my roster. Starters D McNabb A QB M Barber A RB W Parker A RB T Houshmandzade A WR A Gates A TE R Bush A RB-WR-TE M Nugent A K D Vikings A DST Bench C Brown RS RB C Taylor RS RB L Jordan RS RB L Washington RS RB A Gonzalez RS WR C Johnson RS WR M Clayton RS WR M Hasselbeck RS QB Owens will give me a top notch receiver, but I will be forced into playing three WRs instead of three RBs, which I am not too thrilled about. However I will make the trade if adding Owens is better overall. I could start Lamont Jordan as a third RB, but with Antonio Gates, TJ Housh, and Owens I might be better off with three WRs. Bye Weeks: Owens and Marion Barber are off in week 8. Bush would be off in week 4. If you had my lineup, would you trade Reggie Bush for Terrell Owens? |

So, basically, what you're doing here is trading away a Reggie bush, who's worth 200 points over the course of the season to start TO, who's worth 50 points less.
DYS HOW BAD THIS TRADE IS FOR YOU? U START 3 RB'S. WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU MAKE THIS TRADE? |

Of course, this is assuming WR/RB scoring is the same, and I am down on TO.
That said, there is almost no chance TO scores more than Reggie Bush over the course of the season. Doing this trade is so, so bad, especially since it killz your RB depth. |

They are basically equal in my league for projected points. Where did you get the 200 point projection from? I have Bush at 176 and TO at 172, projected.
It does hurt my RB depth, but I am just wondering whether some ppl would rather start 3 WRs or 3 RBs if given the chance. Personally I am not in love with the trade, but I dont want to pass up an opportunity to get a Tier 1 receiver while I can. Does the RBBC scare anyone since I have Marion Barber and Bush? |

Scoring system matters, of course. But my numbers have Reggie to go for about 650 on the ground, 750 through the air, and like 10 TD's.
What's your scoring system? And I don't see how this trade helps your team at all. You're just trading a superior flex player for a worse flex player. I think most people think Reggie Bush is a borderline RB1. I think he's a mediocre RB2. And with your starting requirements, keep Reggie. |

Assuming you get 1pt for 10yds rush/rec and 6pts per TD.
1500 total yds and 10 TD's is very possible for Bush this year. That would be a total of 210pts. You have a decent team. Depending on how the other teams look in your league you should be OK. You have 2 players on your bench that have a lot of projected upside this year. Brown could have a break out year and C Johnson is on a team that passes the ball 75% of the time. ESPN Projected pts. Owens-174 Parker-236 Bush-188 Barber-153 Brown-194 Jordan-130 Houshmandzadeh-159 Johnson-81 Gates-161 Even though I think you're weak at WR I don't see any upside for you to take the trade. I'd keep Brown and put Barber(splits time) and Jordan(Rhodes could end up the starter) up for trade and try to get a decent 2nd tier WR. I didn't look at bye weeks so keep that in mind if you do shop them around. |

I did reject the trade. I have always been a 3RB 2WR supporter, but I have seen some ppl play the 3WR and do well.
I was mainly scared of Deuce McAllister stealing points from Bush, but Bush is too good not to be in the game the majority of the time. We are using the 1pt per 10 rush/rec and 6pt TDs. |
