25 NL TT reraised 200 deep
I was running about 25/19 when this happened and bad guy was 25/11. He seems pretty nitty post-flop and never really got into trouble.

Re: 25 NL TT reraised 200 deep
I'd reraise here and probably fold to a 3bet.

I call fer pot control. If he's nitty post flop he ain't betting unimproved AK on turn.

Re: 25 NL TT reraised 200 deep
You should tell first why you are calling preflop. If its for pure set value, call here and fold turn to any significant pressure. If its because TT is good against his range then its an easy raise for protection. If he comes over the top its probably best to smooth and shove a blank turn.

Re: 25 NL TT reraised 200 deep
Well, at first it was for set value. After the flop though, it seemed that his bet was weak and that I should go after the pot. Just curious how to proceed

Re: 25 NL TT reraised 200 deep
I like a flat call. There are a few cards besides a T that improve our hand if we're behind, and villain will most likely define his hand on the turn. You might find that a club turn actually gives you a good bluffing opportunity, or allow for a easy showdown.
There are ways to win this without putting a ton of money into the pot. Position is sweet. |

Re: 25 NL TT reraised 200 deep
raise to 14. fold to a shove obv. check behind on the turn unless u improve and then reevaluate the river based on turn and river cards.

Re: 25 NL TT reraised 200 deep
I think we should fold most of the time. We didn't call to catch an overpair, did we? He has a bigger pair a fair amount of the time IMO.
I think you cannot guess his 3betting range from the standard stats very well, but if you think he has AK, AQs and maybe some other crap in his range I like to raise to about $15 and fold to a push. |

Re: 25 NL TT reraised 200 deep
My last post was about flop...
Turn: Looks like AK. B/f $10... It's enough to outprice him with AK or clubs and keep him serious when raising. I c/f the river to a decent bet unless we improve. |

Re: 25 NL TT reraised 200 deep
So I opted for the flat-call. What do you bet on the turn? Make it 12ish? Full pot?
