NL100 - KK oop v. 12/8/3 Nit - WTF am I doing here?
So I really don't know how I'm supposed to play this after the flop. I'm sure many will say to bet the flop, however I'm not convinced that doesn't turn my hand into a bluff.
Do any of you nits float me here? If I bet the flop and check the turn, do you shove any hand w/o an ace? Do you shove the flop w/ AK? Completely confused as to how to approach this one - sorry if I'm a bit incoherent but after 5K hands, my brain is scrabled. Re: NL100 - KK oop v. 12/8/3 Nit - WTF am I doing here?
Well, if I had to guess, I'd say the typical range for a 12/8 to call a 3bet is at MOST TT+/AQs+, maybe even tighter.
Obv any ace and QQ/AA are not folding here, and I kinda doubt that JJ/TT are going to try to steal from you on this flop. Are there any other reads/history? Have you been running over him with 3bets all the time? Also how big is the sample? |

Against a 12/8 I'm considering c/f the flop. What samplesize?

As played fold. I like to lead the flop and fold to any raise. Floating here for them sucks as they've got to risk their whole stack.

Re: NL100 - KK oop v. 12/8/3 Nit - WTF am I doing here?
400 hand sample. As he was on my left, most of the history was him 3b my late opens.
So is the flop call pure spew? I halfway played this hand to try to induce him to try to take it on the flop, hoping for either a free SD, or scare card on the turn. I figured if I bet, he folds anything I'm beating immediately. If I check, maybe I get value from 99-JJ (wishful at best?) - and he checks down. Fancy Value Syndrome I guess. |
